So February is a very busy month at our house. First it was Ryan's 18th birthday and then just 5 days later it was Sebastian's 8th birthday. And, on February 14th we not only celebrated valentines day but also Chinese New Year!

What a whirlwind couple of weeks. Ryan turning 18 is just twisting me up. How could my sweet first born, tow-headed, little, baby boy be 18 years old? I just can't believe how fast the time has gone by. He is finishing up his senior year in high school and then college? We will see. He is still trying to figure it all out himself. I do know that although school is not his favorite pastime, Ryan has proven himself to be a very loyal, caring, responsible young man. He has never given us reason to doubt him. He is a good brother and he makes me proud to be his mom. I loved him from the first moment I knew I was going to be a mom and I love him even more today. Happy birthday my handsome son. I am blessed to be able to call you my son. You make me smile.

Now Sebastian! On thursday, Sebastian will celebrate his 2nd anniversary of joing our family. It has been an amazing 2 years. Sebastian has come so far in the last two years. He has had his whole world turned upside down and he has come up swinging and smiling. I won't lie, it has been at times, very difficult and challenging. He is a very resilient and stubborn little boy. He is also incredibly sweet and charming. He wants what he wants and nothing else will do. He is the most caring little boy and will drive you nuts with his never ending questions. But I love him and last week he celebrated his 8th birthday with a dinner at chili's and some new Wii games and a brand new bike! Just wait until the snow melts. I am very proud of my youngest son. He reminds me everyday of what really is important in our lives. I love you sweet Sebastian and Happy Birthday!
