Wow, 2010 is here and busier than ever. Christmas was good although I have to say it just didn't seem like Christmas usually does. Maybe because it just snuck up on me. Yes I know it always comes the same time of year, but this year just seemed different. Anyway, it was all good and I think all the kids were happy with what "santa" brought them.

The weather here has been so cold and snowy that it just makes me bummed. I love it when Annie and Sebastian can play outside because they are both just outside kids. Sebastian just loves the snow. He comes from a part of china where it doesn't snow...very much like San Diego here so snow is just the best to him. They both can stay outside for hours just messing around. Me, well I just want to move someplace warm. I have lived here in the Midwest all my life and I need SUN! And it doesn't help that Rich is traveling to Hawaii for business regularily. I know, I should go along but I have this small issue of 4 kids to pawn off on someone and funny no one is jumping up and down to have 2 teenagers and 2 little asians! LOL
Ryan is visiting colleges and making decisions about where to go...and go figure he is leaning towards my alma mater....(not I did not pressure him). NIkki has made the speech team for her high school and has made finals all but one time....not common for her first year. Her speech is so funny and she is amazing to listen too. Yes, I am very biased, but she is such a good writer. I love to hear her perform.

Sebastian is really picking up steam in school this year. He has had some moments of trouble but those stories are for another post. He will have his first of 2 surgeries on his lip this march. The good news he has no palate issues and never did. The bad news they really do need to do some work on his cleft lip and then he will be even more handsome than he is now. We are also looking at some possible lazer surgery to cover some of the scars he received at the orpanage. Not a nice place.
Annie is turning out to be a really talented gymnast and is now at level 2 pre team for her gymnastics club. She really seems to like it and I am amazed at what she can do...though sometimes I can't watch the flips. She also wants to try cheerleading. We just redid her bedroom and it is now officially a totally pink Annabelle room...it is totally her.

Rich continues to travel and I just keep things rolling on the homefront. That's about it from here. Enjoy the photos.
